Horizontal Hinge vs Swivel
Page 28, 6th Edition

Quote:
When Hinge Action substitutes for Wrist Action ( per 7-10) Hinging may Feel like one long, slow “Swivel” from Top to Finish. On the other hand, the Release Interval may be so quick as to make even correct Hinge Action to Feel like one instantaneous Swivel. Some players even intentionally execute Impact as exclusively a Swivel, making Clubface alignments extremely fleeting and erratic. Study 3-F-7-B and 7-20.
The difference between Horizontal Hinging and Swivel Impact is illustrated below. With Horizontal Hinging, the Left Wrist remains Vertical to the Horizontal Plane through the Impact Interval. With "Swivel Impact", the Left Wrist continues Rolling counterclockwise through Impact. Swiveling through Impact Closes and Hoods the Clubface, while Horizontal Hinging through Impact Closes the Clubface Only.

It seems like you're illustrating clubhead delofting through impact here, Daryl. Shouldn't there rather be clubhead rotation around the shaft axis?
