Accomodating multiple planes
I am a real doofus when it comes to the sticks…but I am educating myself with regards to equipment.

OK, most irons are rounded (cambered?)to accommodate multiple options with regards to plane, correct? What I have observed through practice…not fitting etc. is that when I strike the ball using the elbow plane I hit it fractionally towards the heel...suggesting that the toe is raised The turned shoulder plane finds the sweet spot. The squared shoulder plane moves contact towards the toe. So…my question is when determining the lie angle do you think it is a good idea to build in the ability to select multiple planes? I like the elbow plane for a lower flight, plus it is a good workout for my right forearm take away (to take it back on any plane I darn well please!) Curious to know if any one can speak to this.
