Club Fitting Report
I went out to Barton Creek CC here in Austin yesterday and got a fitting from Bobby Dean. Bobby is a fellow machiner and worked under Chuck Cook before Chuck left for Dallas.

Bobby spent two hours with me and did a fantastic job. I highly recommend him for anyone in the Austin area.

Putter: I've never been fit for a putter before and it was really great. I found specs that match my stroke and actually help improve it due to the proper weighting in the head and shaft. Bobby is a fitter for Edel putters. Check them out at http://www.edelgolf.com/ Several players at my club have these custom putters and swear by them. Can't wait to get mine!

Driver: Bobby fits for Calloway but can also apply fitting findings to other manufacturs clubs and he has all types in the bay. I hit a bunch of head/shaft combos and really liked the FT9 9* with that Fubuki shaft. Very nice.

Irons: I hit Calloway, Taylor Made, Mizuno, and a couple of others. I really liked the Calloway X-22's with the Nippon 1100 stiff shafts. Super nice ball flight for me. The Taylor Made Burner with Nippn 950 was also good...need to hit a few more times to be sure. Leaning towards X-22's right now.

Wedges: I needed more bounce in my wedges and it was good to get these fitted as well. Will go with two - 52* / 56*.

I'll probably to with a 3-hybrid and 3-wood/5-wood.

Anyway, lots of fun and really learned what a difference the shafts make.

If you can't get to the Swamp and you are anywhere near Austin, go see Bobby.

I hit some Titleist irons with those shafts - very nice.

Getting your degree(s)
Trig,

Why more bounce in the wedges?
