If I think of driving my pp3 to and in front of the ball it helps me take a divot after impact. Is this the right thought for a swinger?
Jerry,
"Driving" is a term associated with Hitting. Swingers use the term "Drag". So, what takes the club Down Plane? Centrifugal Transfer of Momentum resulting in a Throw-Out or Muscular Right Elbow (tricep) Drive-Out?
this is the best I hit the ball all summer-(when I take #3 down plane)
The interesting thing is...it is very difficult to focus on more than one pressure point at a time. There are three in the hands and each has a unique role, but they all go down plane.
Once you have one trained and acting properly, start focusing and nurturing the next one. It will be on plane, but may be misbehaving in other areas.
Your hands have many stories to tell.

For the Swinger, the #3 Pressure Point supplies the In-Direct "Drive" of Clubhead Lag. The Direct "Drive" is supplied by the Right Shoulder Turn and its corresponding #4 Pressure Point as well as the Left Wrist Cock and its corresponding #2 Pressure Point. Pressure Point #3 accepts the Lag Loading supplied by the Transfer of Momentum generated in #4 and #2 and uses that pressure as guidance or Aiming, not active Direct Drive Thrusting.
