No going back now
Well, I've had the little yellow book for about a week now and what can I say, it's less yellow, more GOLD!

Things I’ve discovered:

The position my elbow gets into when intending to punch something is called the Push position, not Punch. Why is it called Punch when nobody outside of a mental ward would fan when drawing back to punch something.

Chapter 2 is scarier than any Freddie or Jason movie watched in a dark room, on a stormy night, as a ten year old, home alone

If there are any references to a cross-line motion of the hips or the pre-turning of the hips at address, I’m going to be the next Tiger. (see what I’ve done here )

The Straight Line Delivery Path has a curve… not actually true, I know I know

Even tho “Except for special purposes, Address Position is NEVER Impact Position.”, the Impact address position, with its impact body and hands, is “especially useful for Hitters”.

These forums are the fourth Imperative, unless of course my Turned Shoulder Plane thread fails to get a response for two more days :P

And finally, reading the book is quite easy, just as long as I don’t try to understand every little bit on the first, second, third, forth… you get the picture.

And finally, this book will be a lifelong companion, unless it burns in a fire, gets stolen, lost, given as a gift or runs away with the spoon

Seriously tho, it feels great to be able to be more precise with all the question I'm going to be bombard you guys with

Congratulations on finding the book. As complete and thorough as it is, I am amazed that it gets so little play in the mainstream. Even gets ridiculed by the ignorant. Keep the faith though, and sustain the lag.

Ya ur right- the book needs to be studied, not just read.

And I agree with you- the book is with me for life too.

I have to admit, I never read the book, but.......
my nose has been in it for about two years now.

I’m lead around inside of " Homer’s Head" by curiosity and inquisitive posts from the TGM forums.

Glad you got the book. I swear, everyday you will find something on some page when you least expect it and you will say- “Wow, where did that come from?” The book is loaded.

Go slow. And let us know how many times you throw the book against the wall-

Hahaha...yup he's hit information overload. That's the draw of the game though eh man.

One day: "I've got it! PGA Tour here I come!"

Next day: "Uh-oh...back to the drawing board."

Incubate.

Reminds me of a Bluegrass band named "Hot Buttered Rum". Really outstanding musicians. Go see them if you get a chance (think bluegrass with a jazz/funk edge). They have a song named "less guns, more butter" that I'm sure could be modified to TGM terms.....

I have never before had a swing that so magestically appears and then so cataclysmically disappears. Same day, same round. My regular partners are calling me Ray-Ray.
