Lots of good info in all 3 dvd's..... no specific favorites just yet.

One thing that struck me was seeing VJ employ a vertical hinge on what appeared to be a "full-blown 6-iron". Wondering if he's simply demonstrating all 3 hinge actions, or is it truly a viable hinge action to obtain an extra high "cutter" with ANY club? I've limited any vertical hinging to short shots.....seems like you could get hurt trying it on a full swing!

I think V.J. is probably just that good ;)

Thanks, Comet. Regarding the Vertical Hinge Action on a "full blown 6-iron", I hit exactly that shot for Alex and Burner in their private session the day before the LBG Homecoming Classic at Cuscowilla. I swung down and through, took turf, and the ball went dead straight; but . . .

Sky high!

Tell'em about it, Alex and Burner!

:salut:

Yoda also did some really cool stuff with a sand wedge on Sunday afternoon. Unfortunately I cannot remember his technique :(

Augusta Golf -- B.J. Hathaway -- is being too modest. Our late Sunday afternoon time together was with his student Lyn Lott, Georgia Sports Hall of Famer http://www.gghf.org/MEMBER_level2lott.htm, state Open Champion and 11-year PGA TOUR player (Lifetime TOUR member / 150 Cuts; 3-time Masters; and 3-time U.S. Open / 7th, 9th and 12th).

I have read about Lyn Lott since the '70s and was delighted when AG offered to introduce me to him.

Check out Lyn's endorsement of our friend and LBG Contributor, Augusta Golf. Cutting to the chase:

"B.J. can help you, too - results guaranteed!"

I showed them the same on the 11th hole with a 7i. BJ was with us and was having a chuckle that it was the only ball sitting on the green)

That's true Guru ;) I hit a medium spinner into the center of the green and spun it back off the fringe and Guru calmly put some Verticulor Dropicide on his ball and she just landed and sat down.:happy3:

Thank you kind sir! :salut: Lyn was a bit leary when I first came to see the little Yellow light at the end of the tunnel, but now he's on board, excited and interested in all things TGM. He has started to see that once one gets past the lingo and into the concepts that our guidebook is the basis for all good golf. Thanks to Yoda we have this DVD set that works hand-in-hand with the book. Suddenly it's "hey, you see that light down there in the distance? Man is that thing getting brighter?! Wait a minute....it's moving towards us!":sunny:

Oh yea!! I think both Burner and I were not sure if VH could be used in a full swing and Yoda says 'watch this' Moments later another frozen rope flies out into the horizon albiet with a bit of height on it.
Again it was the same with Guru's 7 iron on the 11th. Both BJ and I went for the all glory PW that went up in the air and then spun off the green but Guru's little 7 iron with VH stayed on the green (didn't we all get pars though in the end :D)

That being said, what is your favorite part of the DVD series?

Feel free to discuss amongst yourselves and when I return please have your answers ready.

Ok, I'm back.
