Hi Addam,

Thanks for posting it. Not working yet, I'll check it later as I am anxious to see it!

I enjoyed the Faldo drill. I sometimes don't fan my right forearm enough at takeaway and that will be a great way for me to double check my mechanics.

Thanks,
Kevin

The first move down: "take out the slack" cannot be seen in here. The whole swing seems to be initiated by the right arm?

I have some more stuff about 2 hours on the mat, I will post some more tomorrow,

What is the "bullseye", with the butt of the club pressed against the palm of the left hand?

Hey All,
First post here, been lurking for a while.

I believe Steve is showing an example of linear force.

New to TGM, been reading it for a couple of years and had a few lessons along the way from some AI's.

Thanks for all the helpful information!

Also, I think the bullseye is the target for the butt of the club.

Drag loading, longitudinal etc towards the plane line then? But the thing where the club is parallel to the ground and the butt is hitting the left palm, is that a Delayed Release image then? Small pulley wheel?

cascade 01-07-2010 09:35 PM

Yes, more delayed.
I think it's related to taking out the slack of the left arm wedge.
The small pulley would speed up the hands, yes?
Again, I'm a newby to TGM and writing about TGM. I'm enjoying every minute here, thanks Lynn and everyone!

Welcome to LBG Cascade.

"Taking out the slack" is a Startdown, Sequencing, loading thing that doesnt change the Left Arm Flying Wedge alignment although it can cock the left wrist when Float Loading if that is what you mean. " Small pulley wheel" relates to the Endless Belt Analogy, where a later release speeds up the clubHEAD for any given hand speed.

Glad your enjoying it, there are a lot of top flight instructors and great people on this board.

Thanks O.B.

I should of said, store the uncocking left wrist longer other wise you will miss the bullseye, hitting the bullseye with your fist instead of the butt of the club.

A variation on a good drill! :)

Basically verifying PP#1's path from release point.
