Alignment Golf II -- New DVD Series Coming Soon!

Just back Thursday evening after shooting my new DVD series, Alignment Golf II. The photos below were taken in the 'green room' on our sound stage in Washington, DC. The outdoor work -- no photos yet -- was done at Belle Haven CC in Alexandria, Virginia. Many thanks to head golf professional Steve Daniels, PGA, and his crew for hosting us.

Curt Sanders, Carolinas PGA 2007 Section Champion, 2008-9 Player of the Year, and Lynn Blake Certified Senior Instructor participated with me in the outdoor segments. Thanks, Curt!

Much work remains to be done, including animations of such major concepts as the Geometry of the Circle, Hinge Action and Power. Our ambitious target release date: June 30, 2010.

Stay tuned!

I'm looking forward to it. The First "Alignment Golf" DVD is the best Golf Instructional DVD ever made.

BTW, you're looking good for a guy your age. :)

Thanks, Daryl, and . . .

Welcome back. We've been missin' ya!

Regarding my 'looks', the beauty contest ended long ago, and it is what it is. But, at age 900, I guess it could be worse! Funny, though . . .

I feel 25!

Near as I remember.

Yoda is a NATURAL!

Hello Everyone,

I was very priviledged to work with Yoda on Alignment Golf II. We shot a bunch of footage over the three days and Lynn was a real pro. Of course he has an incredible ability to explain the golf swing, but he also has a natural gift to shine in front of the camera. He makes it look easy.

I have certainly used Alignment Golf to help my teaching and playing, and I look forward to adding Alignment Golf II to my collection. I think everyone will enjoy the production and I can't wait for its release.

Thanks, Curt.

We timed the weather perfectly, didn't we? Shooting in sunshine at Belle Haven on Tuesday and Thursday, and in the studio on rainy Wednesday. Our plan! :confused1

I'll be viewing 'rough cuts' as early as next week. Once I see what we've got, we'll put some clips up on the site.

As always, I solicit and encourage member comment.

I think he'd be very happy with this new venture.

I certainly am. Go get em, Lynn.

Does Robert Tyre Jones Jr. make any impromtu appearance? Curt It was great meeting you at the Carolinas PGA Alignment Golf seminar. Your impression of Bob Jones was superb.

For all who have not met Curt, he is as genuine a genleman as Bob Jones. I look forward to seeing his appearance, in Alignment Golf II.

Daryl 04-27-2010 10:06 PM

I think you should use my interpretation of Yoda teaching the "Geometry of the circle".

Yoda, I don't know of many 25 year olds who could keep up with you. Your knowledge, enthusiasm and the positive energy with which you communicate needs to be experienced LIVE.

I am sure Alignment Golf II will capture a lot of those qualities. leozevo is not the only one who can't wait for June 30.

innercityteacher 04-28-2010 11:47 AM

This presents even greater hurdles in my quest to break 80! Should I watch the first DVD on one week, pick two drills, practice them and play on the weekend, and then alternate the other DVD/tape? Should I stay with DVD one until I shoot a 72 and then watch the new DVD? Now I know how a rich guy feels with four fancy cars.

Curt Sanders yesterday shot 67 (-4) in the first round of the Carolinas Open and is tied for first. This prestigious event is being contested at Surf Golf and Beach Club in North Myrtle Beach, NC. It has a long history (since 1923) and has a stellar list of past champions. I'll put up a thread in our On Tour With LBG Forum so we can follow the action.

I'm just back from Wilmington, NC, where I spent four days working with Curt and Billy Anderson (head professional at Eagle Point Golf Club) and a cross-section of their membership. Billy shot 70 (-1) and is currently T-8.

Go get'em, guys!

Curt's in today at 69 and tied for the lead. Billy's in at 70 and T-10. For the tourney, -6 and -2 respectively. Also, John Faidley, head professional at Forsyth CC in Winston-Salem, NC, who shot 68 today and is also -2 and T-10. John particpated in my 18-hour Alignment Golf Workshop March 15-16 in Greensboro and invited me to teach two days at his club the same week. Congrats, guys. You're the best!

And we will be able to study both or maybe Yoda will package it with VJ's "Final Missing Piece," and we can buy the trilogy....."Lords of the Plane," for holiday gift giving.

Hopefully it will expound more on the "hitters" pattern, both drive and float loading.

Looking forward to it!

Must be some delay here.
But never mind.
Is the contents so new and different that it is interesting and worth while also for the owners of Aligment Golf (I)?

Sorry, guys and gals. I hadn't considered this 'checking in' effort. I'm shooting for a December date now. Don't worry about monitoring this thread. Trust me: when we're ready to ship, you'll know it!

The material has been shot. It is exhaustive and definitive (more than a dozen hours of footage). Glad I did it -- it needed to be done -- but it is not the DVD I set out to shoot; namely, one for the general public. I still am sorting out certain issues, but it is likely these DVDs will form the core of my Lynn Blake Certified Instructor Training (including the Certified Amateur track).

Meanwhile, stay tuned for the imminent release of my Golf Channel Instructor Search video. I shot it this afternoon at Cuscowilla and will do the edits tomorrow in Atlanta. It will be at TGC by their deadline (Sunday midnight) and up on this site immediately thereafter.
