Commentators
 

I assume many of you listened to the EXCELLENT radio Internet broadcast from the Open Championship. Abslolute world class commentary and a joy to listen to. One thing the guys mentioned has kept me smiling for days:

Example:

Your golf buddy is standing on tee, thinking of what to hit. Looks at his bag and down the fairway, considering his options. Then you say:

- I think its time to feed the dog.

Which means "hit driver".

ABC is hands down the best since getting Zinger and Faldo. I can do without Finch, but that's being picky.

CBS is all about themselves. The announcers want to be the star of the show.

NBC has Miller and he just vent's his golf frustrations on the players.

I was listening to the open radio during play and a couple of things made me laugh:

They discussed Monty and this was said about his swing: "...even if his swing is build of a pile of rubbish, I'd take it anyday...." :D
