The Fundamentals vs. Koolaid Fundamentals

Each time I watch the Golf Channel they have some instructor talking about THE FUNDAMENTALS. Who the heck knows exactly what they mean, but for the most part it is Grip, Set Up and Alignment (to the target, not the kind of Alignment we know).

So if you guys could define THE FUNDAMENTALS what would they be? Or should we just go with the Three Imperatives and Three Essentials?

And . . .

Would you have set of Swinger's Fundamentals and a set for Hitters?

I have a feeling that we could do a hell of a lot better than the standard fare bandied about on the Golf Channel . . .

Thoughts anyone?

The Three Imperatives and Three Essentials are a good start. I'd add what Yoda calls "Ted's 4th imperative", extensor action. Additionally, 7-3 is a must read.
