Dowel size

How long and how thick should a dowel be?
(Is there a "correct" size for them?)

3/4" (19mm) X 48" (1219mm) or the length of your longest club.

Thinner dowels can be used but they have a greater tendency to warp.

On the Dowel Advisory Staff

I use 5/8 X 48 for most drills. Also use square dowels 5/8 x 36for Flying Wedge drills, Plane of the left wrist cock motion drills,...

Thanks Daryl & drewitgolf,

I bought 2 "sticks" today 16 X 1200 mm (approx. 5/8 x 48").
So they should be fine I think..
