Beer Can Chicken?

Sorry, John, I've seen you in action on multiple occasions, and the best you can do is Ginger Ale Can Chicken!

Now, as for our LBG friend, Bucket....

Don't even ask.

There is Beer Can Chicken.

There is Vodka Bottle Chicken.

And there is Thunder Road Chicken!

:3gears:

Usually served to Bucket, in person and according to his own Secret Recipe, by our own Mike O.

:violent:

LBG Disclaimer: Regarding the Bucket/Mike O. goings-on, nobody is exactly sure of what goes on, but whatever does go on, goes on here!

well bucket, da momma-in-law cooked us a couple of chickens with a beer can and other with 7up can, both standing up on the BBQ...makes quite the tripod. lol. Honestly, doesnt change taste it just keeps it 'juicier'. But i guess some cherry coke might have an adverse effect on the chicken.

Try putting a couple tablespoons of whatever you used to season the chicken into the beer can before you setup the chicken tripod.

Vernors, 7up, Coke...all good, but this is the best recipe for beer can chicken I've read.

1 whole chicken

your favorite barbecue rub

1 six pack of beer - 1 can for the chicken (actually, you can drink about 1/2 of this can while you're getting everything setup), 4 cans to drink while the chicken is cooking, and one more to drink with dinner. WARNING! Bucket, do not drink the other 1/2 can of beer that the chicken was perched on during cooking!
