Chrysler Classic of Greensboro
I was on the Tee today in Greensboro with Neal Lancaster and David Branshaw....Neal had his boys from the "White Swan" in Smithfield bring a "PIG" on the Practice Tee and we had us a "PiG Pickin"...Eastern NC style...Good Food Good Fun....
It just blows me away how good these guys are with such compensating stroke.... Branshaw had a bent plane line to the left and was wondering why his distance control was "fleety"...Need less to say he needed to take and go more downward and outward instead of trying to "go left" so sharply.... Lancaster had his "RPM's" in sync but his problem is the "Red Light District" of Tour Reps trying to get there count for a 3W and a Hybrid..No wonder he hasn't done as well as predicted..between entertaining his buddies and tour reps....we had the opportunity for about less than 5 Cumulative minutes to get some work done during a 1 hour session... Met Aaron Baddelley..good Christin Kid..great motion..Andy Plummer has done a good job... Oh well looking forward to getting home to my sanctuary..."The Creek"... |

on demand
D-
Golf Channel On Demand on digital cable - playing lesson with Neal Lancaster... I just saw it a few minutes ago. I was waiting for him to say something about uncocking then rolling along the plane line. Didn't really get that :) |

Rippin it Up on Tobacco Road
Looks like Brian has decided to shred the field this week. He's -6 through 14 with a par 5 remaining. That's T1 for the moment. Yeeeee Haaaa! Go Brian, go... :salut:

Brian loves the support he's getting from his LBG gallery! We talked for about an hour last night, and he was relaxed and confident in the way he's been striking the ball. My last words to him were: "You've earned your spurs and waited your turn. It could happen at any time." He chuckled, and we called it a night. :) |
You're Welcome

Busy Weekend Comin'
Brian Gay has scored 67-73=140, 4-under par at the PGA TOUR's Chrysler Classic of Greensboro. He is T-28 in a field of 132 that today was cut to low 70 and ties. The event is being played at its long-time home, Forest Oaks Country Club in Greensboro, North Carolina.
Congratulations, Brian. Have a great weekend! |
Way to go, Brian!
Way to go BG.
It seems each week there are more and more pga guys to root for. What’s going to happen when two of our LBG/tgm brethrens battle it out for a win. LOL- actually I can’t wait for that to happen. Speaking of tour players- how many tour pros are working with the pro staff on this site. Lynn, Jeff Hull, Rob Noel (Hunter) and Annikan account for several- and I know I’m missing some. What other site has TOUR players, some online regulars, learning (and sharing) the same golf stroke information as we do. And not to mention the vast number of teaching pga members and “Top 100” instructors log on here or attended a workshop or two. I guess good information from decent guys will always win out. LBG is a class act. The old adage- “You don’t tell people you are great- they will tell you.” You guys on here are GREAT. |
