The last Major to be won by a player on Wilson playing staff was the 1999 Open winner Paul Lawrie as well. A long time coming for a company with such a rich history in the game.

True, Alex. When I was coming up, the red and white Wilson Staff bag bore at least three famous names:

Sam Snead, Billy Casper and Arnold Palmer.

A 'rich history' indeed!
