Chapter 3 has quite a bit of info...that is probably often overlooked.

"Inability to execute a full Pivot Stroke at one half and one quarter speed as smoothly as at full speed indicates a flaw in the full speed procedure."(3-B)

I was lucky to get a copy of the Third Edtion recently and didn't recognize 3-C and 3-D from the 6th edition version. It goes into greater length and is a gem. When I get home, I'll try to fill in the missing parts.
