Time for Spain....

We have had a good "sporting year" this year.............

Spain won the european soccer championship (did the british ever qualify??:eyes: )

A Spaniard (Rafael Nadal) won the Wimbledon..:salut:

I hope it is time for a Spaniard to win the Open.

Garcia, Jimenez y Larrazabal - Animo muchachos!!

Thats a Seve Burden to Bear.

Repeat afer me...
The reign of Spain is mainly in the brain,
The reign of Spain is mainly in the brain.

Seriously, an exceptional year for Spain :salut: .

That Tennis match had to be one of the greatest matches ever played. Rafael Nadal was spectacular and deserving of the victory.

For that, the English will be forever grateful: even if expressing gratitude to a Scot sticks in the throat and prevents the swallowing of cheese and sour grapes. :laughing9:laughing9:laughing9

Typical of us to be in the same group as France and Italy during the qualifying stages...but also typical of us we managed to snap defeat from the jaws of victory (we were on top of the table with 2 games to go)....if only we managed to get a point or two from the earlier games rather than going out and trying to beat Italy in our final home game.

Shame.:crybaby: :)

We too raise the cup to our lips only to spill the contents down our shirt front.

But, at least your Manager was intent on the football, whilst ours was more intent on keeping his vanishing Barnet dry under an Umberella!!!!!!!!!!
