Homer did not recommend 10-2-D for Cut Shots. He only said it was"very compatible" with Cut shots. There is a difference!

The best way to execute the Cut Shot is with the Precision Grip of10-2-B coupled with Dual Vertical Hinge Action (10-10-E) and with the Clubfacealigned Square to the Target Line at Impact Fix per 2-J-1.

If left unhampered, Centrifugal Force will automatically align the Clubface forHorizontal Hinging through Impact. However, Vertical Hinging is always adeliberate Clubface Manipulation. And any deliberate Hand Motion to controlthe Clubface -- the Geometry of Hinging per 2-G -- requires that the Flat LeftWrist be vertical to its Left shoulder Axis and to its Associated Plane duringImpact (Glossary / Flat and Vertical Left Wrist).

The Turned Left Wrist of 10-2-D does not meet these precisionrequirements of the Hinge Action (Glossary / Hinge Action) and shouldtherefore be avoided.
