For me, your posts have been super.
THIS forum and Chuck's have been an incredible learning experience over the last 2+ years. Chuck's posts have been great. Golfingrandy has given me some great words that I have cut and pasted and will keep permanently in my notes. Others also have been great to speak with. And almost 100% of the rest have been great to read. And Phillygolf.....always several steps ahead of me. When I read his questions and posts I realize that I'm at the stage, now, where he was some time ago. So his questions really help me, cuz I'd just be asking the same ones in the future.

A poster who says "I'm the best teacher in the world...I'm the best I've ever seen...nothing's ever my fault" turns off many many people from TGM.

Thanks, FP. Whatever goals you have in the game, my goal is to help get youthere.

In ancient Rome, there were two kinds of statues, one that would be placed inthe direct sunlight, and another in the shadow. To the eye, both appeared thesame.

But the sculptors knew that the sun would reveal the difference. The differencewas that the statues placed in the shade were flawed. The sculptor had mademistakes, and he had filled his mistakes with wax. And in the sun...the waxwould melt...and reveal the sculptor's error. So those statues were kept in theshade.

But the statues without flaws were offered to the burning sun.

The Latin word sincerus means "without wax."

Sincereus.

This statue has no wax.
