I don't see where or how you can physically mandate PP#3 and change the top reference point (club butt end) to be external to the shaft...

Thank you for another thoughtful, well-researched question.

The Line of Pull of Centrifugal Force is indeed through the #3 PressurePoint. That is why Clubhead Feel -- The Secret per 6-C-2-0 -- is theClubhead Lag Pressure sensed and controlled through that 'Last Outpost' of theGrip (2-F and 6-C-0-#3).

For the very obvious proof, look again at the photograph of Homer Kelleyswinging the weighted line in my post Back To The Future in the Chapter2/Statement of Principle thread. Here the Line of Pull is clearly evidentbetween the first joint of Homer's Right Forefinger (the #3 Pressure Point).This picture is particularly revealing of the Principle involvedbecause...

...there is no Clubshaft butt!
