goin' low
I was just talking to Lynn. So, Brian's last two rounds on Tour are 64 (low final round at Colonial) and 64 (low first round at St. Jude).
Three more scores like that, and he's a guarantee to get into the U.S. Open. |
Miracle Man
Two-time calendar year PGA TOUR event winners gain the final exemptions to next week's U.S. Open. Brian, winner at the Verizon Heritage, is off to a great start here with his 64 (-6) and a one-shot lead. For the round, he was T-4 in GIR; T-5 in Putts per GIR; and had a 100 percent Scrambling Percentage. If you hit more greens than most; hole more putts than most when you hit those greens; and get it up and down 100 percent of the time when you do miss the greens . . . you usually wind up pretty high on the leaderboard!
:) I'm booked at Cuscowilla through Saturday, but will be with Brian in Memphis if he's in the hunt Sunday. And if the Memphis Miracle occurs, I'll be at Bethpage next week. Keep your fingers crossed everybody! http://www.pgatour.com/ :golf: |

Looks like he is on track to another one, I caught the last bit of coverage yesterday and he was looking great!
Also, interesting to note that Kelley Tilghman spent some time with Brian's wife on a flight recently, perhaps an interview with Lynn will come soon on TGC :) go get 'em Brian! |
Go Brian!! Another good round today!

Exciting start, well played Brian!
I noticed a small feature on putting by Brian in UK "Golf World" magazine this month! Fame is spreading...is he going to come to UK for the Open?:salut: |
