Where is everybody?

With 9196 members the forum is rather quiet. Only 1-5 members at any given moment - very seldom over 8-10. Isn't that a little strange? There must be a lot of sleeping/passive members!?

There are a lot more guests here - normally between 130 and 160.
But very few members.... (not only today, but actually all the time..)
Maybe they are watching videos instead of being on the forum? Or ...

How many websites with the word "Golf"? Google search the word "Golf" and the results are 1,680,000,000 (ya, 6 zeros). Yahoo = 730,000 results, Bing = 745,000 results.

Amazing. I bet every teacher on the planet has his own website. That's abusive. :laughing9 A lot of voodoo in the Golf world.

I must confess I log on at least five times a day. I need to get a life or spring needs to spring!

I'm with you Taffy. I'm afraid I'm a gleaner and not much of a contributor.

Maybe there are not enough questions asked? Without anything to answer about, there is not so much to contribute with? It feels like the forum is in a hibernation period?

Golf is in decline and it's generally agreed that the statistically projected 1% growth over the next decade is far below the growth seen in the last half century. But I think 1% is overly optimistic.

We're "Doomed". I expect a significant decline over the next three decades. :shaking:

Traffic at the other forums-most anyway- seems to be down and golfwrx appears to be alot of repeated topics that appear in cycles. Golf is not growing- it takes too long and has the reputation of being expensive and exclusive (anymore this is not the case IMO). I sure am glad I don't own a golf course.

On a postive note - tell us something about how you are planning to make several videos with G.O.L.F content. Are you going to show them here - or are you planning to sell them?

No charge.

I'll upload them to LBG.com for exclusive viewing on this website. The videos demonstrate and examine key TGM concepts. They wouldn't be of interest to non-TGM golfing students.

Sounds good. The future isn't all bad...
