Rumbler, The forearm rotates throughout the swing. It is more imporant to monitor the hands than the forearms. Where are the hands at impact? This is what you (or anyone) needs to learn. The left arm will always be OFF plane , higher than the right ON PLANE elbow.
SwingN2S was not being offensive to you.
I cannot see how reading his post you think he offended you. He just wanted you to bend at the elbow and not lift the whole right arm straight (to parallel to the ground) on the take-away. He was teaching a right forearm take-away. Learning how to fold and unfold the right arm at the elbow is key to a good swing.
