My favorite started with his first post, those many years ago, and ended with the one he just posted. They would made a great book .

Speaking of which, what was his first ever post on the other site? Must have been a bit of a shock for some. Like a close encounter or something.
Is there a link?

I'm sure you've seen this, OB, but all of Yoda's posts have been captured and re-posted on our site. His first three months of posts are here:
http://www.lynnblakegolf.com/forum/f...play.php?f=129
Unfortunately when I worked on importing the word documents, there were no dates associated with each post, so I can't tell which is the first one. Maybe Drew or somebody else who knows could point us there.
Tons of great posts in that first 3 months thread, as well as in the other archive forum. Hard to pick a favorite!

Lynn, correct me if I am wrong, but it started with the old TGM website, which no longer exists and then went quickly to the Chuck Evan's website.
Side note: No one knew who this Yoda charater was at first, but everone was dying to know. He just took the ball and ran with it and hasn't stopped running. A seperate thread on CE webpage was introduced just to find out who he was, because he wasn't telling. He did give us a hint to his "secret" identity when a picture of Mr. Kelley was taken if front of his garage. Yoda explained that he was the one that took the picture. Knowing that Gregg McHatton GSED was also in the picture, I contacted Gregg and asked who this little green person was (although some guy posted Lynn Blakley, to which Yoda responded "nope") . Gregg then let the "cat out of the bag". Although, I was the first to know who Yoda was, other than to let him know I knew, I never told anyone. I didn't want to spoil his fun. He did that on his own sometime later.
BTW, the first post I believe was on Educated Hands, which no one was getting right until Mr. Yoda arrived.

Thanks Drew
Always wondered about his arrival to this planet. He came here with a message of Educated Hands. Interesting. Did he scare anybody at first, or was he received peacefully. Was the US army there? The FBI?
Bagger Im wondering if I could re name this thread. I dont want everyones all time favourite single thread, that is too hard. Just some threads that people like that once compiled would make for a nice collection of sorts.
So if you guys dont mind. Please post a link as you come across them.
Regards
ob

Forum Question
Mr. Yoda, moderators, any member : I am new to the forum and unsure where I should post this off topic query. I've been reading the forum ( and the Golfing Machine 7th ed. ) for about three weeks now. My delima is this - I continue to get bumped off the site while reading and need to re-log in, in order to finish what I'm reading. Are there levels of priority based on tenure or other considerations? I don't appear to have this issue with other forums or computer activities. Any suggestions or reccommondations? Thanks and thanks to all for all the insightful information regarding the swing. Larry

It was great times
....when this Holenone guy showed up and suddenly showed some of the selfproclaimed world champions of golf instruction that there is other (or at least one) extremely well informed people out there, when it comes to TGM.

I also still remember Yoda taking the Single Axis forum by storm for a short while, before the host got a bit sulky.
Yoda's internet (first) ascendancy has been incredible and i am privileged to have witnessed it.
