It may be called a rotary swing,but I think it really only relates to the fact that he is really in fact talking in the main about shoulder plane ,or as its named "one plane"rotating around the spine which any normal swing really does anyhow.Also how the rotation never stops ,I think its really a simplistic golf swing,it relies simply on centrifugal force and for me,that in itself is a good thing especially for beginner as in it would be fairly easy to learn or teach.
I dont think its too distant from any normal swing ,its just got a few little subtle quintonistic additives,or his own little touches thrown in.........there is in one youtube clip where he told viewers to feel resistance on left side with arms and hands at the follow thru when chipping could be wrong but it would be akin to centripetal force(inward).
For me ,I certaintly thought it is a nice easy swing...some of the drills may be different,especially the transitition bit,not my cup of tea
