Are you COCKING your Right Wrist? It should remain LEVEL. Or you could be ROLLING the Right Wrist at the Top. It's a hands or plane thing.
Get two ping pong paddles or rackets. Extend your arms in front of your chest with rackets vertical to the ground. Take the paddle in your right hand with arm bent and wrist LEVEL. Make a backswing turning the racket so it is parallel/facing to the ground. You have just Turned your Right Hand palm up to the Horizontal Plane. NOW not moving ANYTHING, bend over and assume a golf posture. Your Right Hand is now palm up to the INCLINED PLANE. Now swing your left hand with paddle to the top facing your right hand paddle. This is where you should be at the Top. You shouldn't be across the line.
You can do this same thing using two dowels alternating from horizontal to inclined plane of motion. Train your right hand separately. Then do it with a club.
Good luck!
