Strectching and exercise can actually worsen the symptons. You must first release the trigger points through self massaging them.

I would urge you to check out Trigger point therapy. You can do it yourself and the only equipment you need is a lacrosse ball or large super ball.

Type "trigger point" in your serach engine and start reading.
