Also I changed putters this year after using one for three years with less than good results. Turns out that the Face Balancd Putter isn't a good choice for Arc Putting, go for the Toe Balanced Putter. I pulled out my putter from the 70s, a old bullseye, plain, simple and ugly but it works.
If you get a chance read Stan Utley's 'The Art of Putting', I found it a good read and makes a lot of sense. Much better than Pelz's books IMO.

Thanks Martee-
I did pull out the Utley book last night. In one area of the book he talks about the shoulders controlling the stroke, and shoulders rotating around the spine (I think this is a gross exaggeration) but then he spends most of his time talking about the stroke being controlled "below the elbows".....
Grip in both palms (yet he talks about feel in the fingers). Pictures show the grip in both palms.
Seems to advocate powering the backstroke by the left forearm, and the forward stroke by the right forearm. Not real clear whether he advocates hinging...he says he doesent, but then says you must have "soft" hands and forearms to allow the putterhead to swing and give you more feel (sounds like hinging to me [not TGM hinging].
