At Impact Fix (7-8 ) you erect your selected Inclined Plane Angle (Club
shaft Control) -- ideally the
Turned Shoulder Plane (10-6-B) -- and align the Clubface (2-J-1) in accordance with the desired
Hinge Action (Club
face Control) -- slightly Open for
Horizontal Hinge Action (Swinging) and slightly Closed for
Angled Hinge Action (Hitting).
The whole object of the Stroke is then to
return to these pre-set, precision alignments with the required
Power (Club
head Control) and then to
Drive through Impact to Both Arms Straight. It's as simple as that.
And you either do it...
Or you don't.
If you do...
It's a good thing.
If you don't...
It's not.
