Let's all look closer at the photo posted with Neal Lancaster
Notice the seperate LCG and clubshaft planes
The LCG is holding or tracing the plane line on the ground ....
notice the shaft change it's relationship to the LCG which is holding itself to the plane line...
all of a sudden you no longer see the LCG in the last frame because the "the Clubshaft can travel on, or to- and from, either Plane because Clubshaft rotation must be around the Sweetspot - not vice versa.In this case, shaft has traveled "on, and to ,the plane of the LCG" The LCG is now hidden by the shaft!

Now I suggest that this relationship is different based upon the ineraction of three seperate but intertwined areas.
1) Hinge Action
2) Wrist Action
3) Lag Loading
I would agree that Both Hitters and Swingers would use the LCG in a similar but very different way(it is what is on -plane the sameness, but dragged or driven is the difference)However, Wrist Action and Loading is what changes the shaft location to the LCG...I also believe hinge action has a relationship as well....Shaft rotation around the LCG is opposite for Vertical Hinging than Horizontal Hinging...
I am NOT a self-proclaimed expert on this subject...BUT I DO NOT believe hitters and swingers use this relationship the same way....
As a matter of fact ...I think it is a huge difference...A primary difference...
BUT I could be wrong...so correct me if I am!!!

Since we are told to monitor our hands. AND Left Hand is Clubface. AND the LCG/Sweet Spot lies on the Clubface. AND it is the Clubshaft that rotates around the Sweet Spot. Would it not follow that any Hand Action (Turning/Rolling/Hinging) would result in a corresponding movement of the Clubshaft around the Sweet Spot?
So if the answer to this question is YES . . . Then could there also be a link to Hand Action, the Rotation of the Shaft about the Sweet Spot AND possibly the employment of 10-5-E Closed/Steeper Plane Line for the Hitter as well? Hmm . . .
It is quite obvious to me at least that in the 5th Frame of Mr. Lancaster's stroke that the LGC and the Clubshaft lie in the same plane. It also seems that by observation of Mr. Lancaster's Left Wrist that he would be employing the Standard Wrist Action (with Start Up Swivel) of the Swinger. So this seems like evidence to support your well thought out case . . . at least to a dumbarse redneck bulldawg chickin bisquit eatin' dingleberry from Tatertown Naf Cackalacka anyhow.
