The key issue with a swinger starting from fix is to make sure you stay 'on line' and 'up plane'. The impact fix start can lead to taking the club too inside and flat.

It can also make the startup swivel a bit tougher to keep on plane.

Angled hinge swingers don't need to worry about that though, and grip type plays a role.

This is an important, under emphasized issue. If you lay it off in the backswing, impact address encourages more layoff. It really requires a frozen right wrist in the backswing. If you are swinging, it is tough to get the momentum on longer shots with impact address. It is easier to move into an alignment than start in one and maintain it throughout the swing, at least if you are attempting a swinging motion. Please note that the above is only based on what I have found in my own swing.
