Will they allow you to suggest that not seeing and understanding the simple, logical insights offered in TGM doesn't mean that a person cannot see them?
There are three telephone interviews posted now on our Home Page, including one from ESPN Radio the week after Brian Gay won by ten at Harbour Town and the Verizon Classic. In two of the three instances (ESPN and Gotham City Golf Blog) I was offered the opportunity to screen and reject questions. I refused on both occasions.

Why?

Because I believe listeners should get the 'real deal', not over processed, homogenized answers to 'softball' questions. Also, it seems to be the way I work best. At the very least, it reduces 'stage fright' to an acceptable minimum.

Regarding promoting my own agenda, that has not been an issue. The interviewers, at least thus far, have leaned over backwards to help in promoting me, my teaching operations, and our work at LynnBlakeGolf.com. In each of the three interviews, I made extensive mention of The Golfing Machine and my association with its author, Homer Kelley. That experience is, after all, part of my very being, and thus hard for me (or an interviewer) to ignore.

At the same time, TGM is not my brand, and I do not feel compelled to promote it except as it manifests itself naturally in a discussion of my work.

We'll see how it turns out tomorrow.

I have to say that my understanding of the book would not be possible or as clear, without LynnBlakeGolf.com

Personal, informative and itnteresting. Top marks! Very nice! I think I was expecting TGC skull-duggery but those interviewers were very friendly and helpful!

Nice!

This is why I take the time to listen to smart golf instructors because you never know when you pick up something good and the comment about Rhythm and Tempo was very well stated, though to modernize it I will probably substitute Els for Littler.
