Why?
Because I believe listeners should get the 'real deal', not over processed, homogenized answers to 'softball' questions. Also, it seems to be the way I work best. At the very least, it reduces 'stage fright' to an acceptable minimum.

Regarding promoting my own agenda, that has not been an issue. The interviewers, at least thus far, have leaned over backwards to help in promoting me, my teaching operations, and our work at LynnBlakeGolf.com. In each of the three interviews, I made extensive mention of The Golfing Machine and my association with its author, Homer Kelley. That experience is, after all, part of my very being, and thus hard for me (or an interviewer) to ignore.
At the same time, TGM is not my brand, and I do not feel compelled to promote it except as it manifests itself naturally in a discussion of my work.
We'll see how it turns out tomorrow.

I have to say that my understanding of the book would not be possible or as clear, without LynnBlakeGolf.com
